My actual question from the press enquiry wasn’t answered and my account was still active. I got a reply two days later on April 8th from a Houseparty rep who said that “we’re sad to see you go” and “please make sure you emailed us from the email you used to sign up for the account you want us to delete and we will be able to assist further.” What can Android users do to delete their accounts if support isn't accepting emails? Deadline is ASAP”. This appears to be the correct email address, is there an issue on Houseparty's end? I emailed and received a 'delivery incomplete' message. The exact text of my email was: “ I recently tried to delete my Houseparty account (I have an Android device). At this point I was already planning on writing a story about Houseparty having issues with account deletion, so I emailed the press office on April 6th to find out if the company was having problems with processing requests. It eventually sent, so I presume the House Party support account was inundated with requests similar to mine, which might have caused the clog. I double checked the email and followed Gmail’s instructions to wait whilst it tried the address again. After sending the deletion request on March 31st, I received a “delivery incomplete” notice the next day on April 1st.
